I have been drawing and using a digital medium for a few years now, and I have also had tables at a few conventions to sell my work. I will continue doing this but figured I should branch out. I do prefer to do My work digitally and am constantly working on improving my art. I do have a deviant art site where I post the majority of work so for more updated works check there please. Paul Dalling Independent Proofreader Commenced working as a freelance proofreader in May 2010 in order to make use of the extensive knowledge and experience gained during my time in the printing and publishing industry. I have worked with a number of graphic design and web design agencies both in my local area and London. I have also worked with small publishing companies on a number of interesting projects. Lockwoods Promotional Products Ltd was founded by a number of senior directors and staff from Bemrose Promotional Products when they ceased trading. They have moved into the bespoke and advertising calendar market retaining many of Bemrose Promotional Products former clients. They asked me to provide freelance proofreading services for their initial calendar season. I have since become one of only two proofreaders retained by them to read their 2012 stock range prior to printing. As well as being a preferred proofreader for Lockwoods Promotional Products, I also produce copy for their stock calendars. This involves working from picture references supplied, researching and writing copy relevant to the image or theme of the calendar. Depending on the client’s preference I will either read and mark up paper manuscripts using standard proofreaders marks, or work on files transmitted electronically.
