I've always enjoyed writing. When I was in the 5th grade I had two of my first written poems published in a poetry book and could remember how proud my grandmother was this transpired. I was never very good with math so my above average grades in English,Language Arts, and Reading really helped me out, keeping my GPA up to par and eventually helping me graduate high school. I ended up studying Cosmetology through Indian River Community College in Ft. Pierce, FL and always told myself that once I had found the career I was most passionate about I would pursue it. I always enjoyed the beauty industry and was content having mastered it, however, I never would have expected it to actually feel like a "job". I have recently come to decide that writing is where my heart is. I do not have any award winning novels, nor do I have credentials with any top University's, however, I hope that this resume to become a freelance writer will be enough to consider me helpful to some people out there who need a hand in areas they, themselves may be brilliant in but do not have the tools necessary to make their dreams a reality, whatever that may be.

I'm a passionate writer with Creative Writing and Print Journalism degrees from the University of Southern California. I have extensive experience writing for corporations (internal communications, newsletters, etc.), social media strategy, copywriting and photography for digital and broadcast properties, and a strong sense of SEO-friendly writing. I am well-versed in a variety of topics, but am most passionate about food writing and accompanying that writing with photography. I am deadline-oriented and able to efficiently deliver a professional product that, in many cases, exceeds expectations. I believe that "the devil is in the details" and pride myself in paying close attention to detail, without losing sight of the bigger picture (or theme or topic). I really enjoy writing and I believe that is evident in everything I take on!

My name is Nathanael Piper and I have lived in Sydney for about 6.5 years. The first three were spent studying graphic design, and the last 3 has been working as a graphic designer and finding spare time to concentrate on more personal ambitions. I am a child of the late 80's and early 90's. I am inspired by nostalgic pop culture from my youth such as comic books and 90's Hollywood films. I'm inspired by the modern Japanese artists drawing manga and anime, and would say my illustration work is compromise between the eastern and western style of graphical story telling. My passion lies within free creativity and expression in all its forms. My personal taste gravitates towards film, animation, storyboards, illustration and experimental graphic design in everything from advertising to web design. I also love working on sound and creating a mood or an atmosphere for a film or animation.
