I am an illustrator/children's author and model-maker, with a BSc, majoring in Zoology and Microbiology and a B.A, majoring in illustration. Most of my illustration work has been of natural history subjects. My husband is a stop-motion animator, director and writer and model-maker. Between us we have a number of skills. He has worked extensively in film and advertising and is an award winning animator. I both wrote and illustrated a children's picture book, released in 2010 on endangered species ( Little Hare Books). It's called "Count Them While You Can" and is one of the Childrens' Book Council of Australia's Eve Pownall Notable Books for 2011, as well as being shortlisted for the 2011 Wilderness Society's Environmental Award for Children's Literature.
