Driving Operational Excellence While Accelerating Profits Performance | Audit | Telecommunications | Construction | Marine Services | Energy LEADERSHIP OVERVIEW Over the past 20 years I have worked with companies and succeeded at adding 6-16% to the bottom line of world-wide, cross-industry enterprises. I am confident in saying that I have the experience to come into your organization, assess any situation presented, and strategically figure out how to transform your operational, technical, and financial problems into solutions that will increase your profits. In 2003, I started Carrie C Holdings – where as a Financial Business Management Consultant, I partner with multiple business enterprises world-wide to offer focused, honest answers to questions on how to make more informed business decisions that will deliver profits. Additionally, as a Lead Subject Matter Expert in Telecommunications, Finance and Assurance Services — I have been able to make a significant impact in my home state of Florida with many local business within the following areas — Marine Services, Construction, Marketing and Energy. My career essentially “took off” after working as Vice President of MSI Holdings, the holdings company to the Dutch-based African telecommunications organization called Celtel International — where I was a Key Player in pioneering the idea, definition and development of the term REVENUE ASSURANCE within the telecommunications industry. I was recruited to lead an internal audit department during a period of rapid growth – which resulted in roughly $90M in annualized gross revenues and the project becoming an industry catalyst that defined revenue assurance and fraud. In addition, we built and implemented the technology to monitor 3G systems in Africa when the U.S. was still using analog; putting our ideas and processes way ahead of the curve. This experience put me in the position to become a leading expert in the field who remains consistently and aggressively sought after today to implement same processes within organizations all over the world. After MSI, I was hired by Visual Wireless Telecommunications in Sweden as a Subject Matter Expert to manage 90 day revenue assurance assessments that would identify missed revenue and fraud. I was able to correct and monitor problem areas through KPI dashboards and perform continuous quarterly “health checks” as necessary. From there, I went on to perform as Chief Financial Officer for CTI Group Worldwide Marine Services spearheading global financial operations for their U.S. and Asian locations, and yielding a $460K revenue gain by performing process improvement analysis and internal auditing. Simply put — I identify and fix problem areas in companies that either make them money or save them money. How am I able to accomplish this? It was Abraham Lincoln who famously stated, “Give me six hours to chop down a tree, and I’ll spend the first four sharpening my axe.” I start by performing aggressive and strategic business audits of existing systems data, then merge performance management and cross-functional management support with traditional finance functions and processes to provide more accurate, reliable reports that help decision makers to make better decisions. Lastly, I deliver quantifiable and focused identification of missed revenue and costs savings that can be corrected to increase profits. A born passion for art and design, I am pursuing my degree in Graphic Communications with an emphasis in digital design and production. I have always enjoyed the art side of the spectrum and knew that a career in creating and inspiring others through my designs is what I wanted to do. I will be graduating with my 4 year Bachelors degree in May of 2013. I was approached, over the past year of 2011 and 2012, with a few opportunities to do a couple freelance graphic design jobs. After completing the task of branding the companies with logo designs, layout of identity system, website completion, brochures, and large advertising designs all companies were extremely satisfied with the outcome of my work and they hired me on as part of the team. I was also blessed with the opportunity to be part of Tim Duncan Events team, based out of Atlanta. I was hired on as an intern responsible for all of the graphic design work. Our company does photography and event planning for glamour weddings and luxury events. I love what I do! The only change I would make is to be able to work in the studio with other designers and then eventually be able to work from home. I work hard in a team, but I like to think I grow when I’m doing something I love. I have big ideas, followed by countless dreams. I am always looking for a way to make them come true. I chose MSUM as my education because of all the great reviews I had heard about its graphics programs, mostly from former students. The professors are passionate about what they do and want nothing but to see their students succeed. In my time at MSUM I have learned that working in a team is important for creative inspiration as well as leadership growth; having that platform to play ideas off of other designers provides a foundation for which I can push myself, and others, to our greatest potential. I sincerely believe that I take a positive and enthusiastic approach in all my work. Dedicated, driven, and detail orientated are just a few of the characteristics I portray when taking on a new challenge. Each project I take on is engaged with professionalism to allow my creativity and passion to be expressed. I like to think that the consistent quality of the work displayed throughout my portfolio demonstrates the potential of any team with me as a member; my ability for time management is something that I am very proud of. In five years I would like to think I have gotten the experience of working in a firm with other designers, preferably in the fashion industry. I plan on working my way to the top of the corporate ladder by proving I have what it takes to be amazing. I would eventually like to start my own business with the privilege of having other inspiring designers working for me. I want to be able to provide for my family as mine parents have done for me.
