I have been an artist all my life but for the last 10 years I have been trying to break into the art world. I have not known how to really do this but have always continued to work on my skill. My mentor and teacher is a graduate of Juilliard and an exceptional artist herself. She has taught me so much about techniques and especially about finding freedom in expressing myself. My promoter is a phenomenal artist himself and highly skilled in building and publishing websites and knows what it takes to be to be a succeesful euntrpenure. With his keen sense of buisness. and talented in so many areas of the art and business world I have no doubt that he will help put me In the world of art. This last year I have thought about becoming an illustrator for children's books. I've always been told that I should write books but I much enjoy doing illustrations so much more I think that I'm very good and hope to get a chance to show my work. I love working the most with watercolor and also enjoy oil pastel. My speciality is in the lightening. My art gas a special touch of neon that is sure to captivate the attention of children.v and adults and makes for a wonderful imaginative time of reading sure to captivate the reader. I am disabled and a veteran and my artwork has been instrumental in keeping me active. I have had a few pieces sold though not many because I have not known how to promote myself. I finally have the help needed and I'm ready to put myself out there and hopefully be given a chance to show the world of art my special talent.

I have been writing poetry, short stories, and novellas for the past 15 years. Studied arts at my local community college and have been published 8 times in their magazine 'Tuscarora Review'. I am an artist of many mediums; writing, painting, drawing, woodworking, photography, and sculpture. My work has sold in various venues including gallery shows, coffee shops, small business retail, my business 'Images for Everyone', and freelance contract work. I have won contests in Photography and general arts. I have awards and certificates received from grade school all the way through college and as an amateur. I did an internship with a subsidy of the Washington Post, written a novella with special permission to help preserve Native American Language and Symbolism, and participated as an artist in "The Pink Ribbon Path Project" to raise money for breast cancer research; sponsored by my local Art Association in Frederick, Maryland. I work out of my home studio and anywhere I need to go to get the job done. I prefer to stay within my local as I do not drive. If I need to get somewhere transportation can be arranged.
