I studied fine arts at Elam, then moved North to set up a pottery [The Red Barn] and helped start a co-operative craftshop [The Black Sheep] in Kerikeri.I worked in spinning and weaving, leatherwork and handmade sheepskin slippers. My other area of interest is horses, and I have worked in many areas of the equestrian world, including a recent stint in the U.S.A. managing an Andalusian horse stud. I have recently started a new project combining these two interests, making handpainted tee shirts with horses on them.
