I am a writer and an avid reader, a result of my education at Bradford College. I held a campus internship with Salamander Literary Magazine where I served as a proofreader of poetry, and I was an editor of The Bradford ReView, the campus literary magazine. I am looking to offer my writing and proofreading skills to anyone who could use my work. I have completed a children's book (working towards possible publication) and am working on my first young adult novel. I have an online comic Dorks,Dweebs, and Nerdlingers and am developing a new project for a web comic. Dorks, Dweebs, and Nerdlingers was also published in Marlborough, Massachusetts as a coloring book for children with cancer in a local hospital. I also adore photography, my specialty is outdoor photography. I paint landscapes for fun, and may be open to commissions in that venue at a later date.

Until recently (about two years ago) I wrote for pleasure, but redundancy forced me into evaluating my career options and I decided that I would like to make the move in to writing professionally. Just over a year ago I started writing a blog; I started by posting some of my own short stories and updates on various other projects that I am working on - my three nascent novels, and a non-fiction booklet about several influential Anglo-Saxon women. Recently I have started reviewing books, albums and concerts. I have always had a keen eye for detail, spelling and grammar, which is useful for me but I never thought anyone else would be interested in my skills. That was until I was asked to edit some short stories for friends. I actually rather enjoy it.
