I am an Adobe Certified freelancer with my degree from The Art Institute of Philadelphia. I have been working full-time as a freelancer for the past two years, with clients all over the world. Previous to this, I ran my own silk-screen t-shirt business, where I had extensive experience with the workings of vector art. I can offer a quick and affordable turn around on your project needs. If you need a high res version of your current logo, then you came to the right place. Or maybe you need a logo from scratch. We can work together to meet your needs. Projects both large and small are no problem. Maybe you want someone removed from a photo, or a smile added where some one wasn't co-operating with the camera. If you have an online shop, you might need your images cleaned up and on a white background. Or maybe you need some re-touch work to bring your images back to life. I will be able to meet any of your Photoshop needs.

I am a former printer having developed a style of figure drawing for editorial or advertising that emphasizes shading both in its darkened and subtle forms. If you want a visually rich form on your page, I may be the drawer for you. I believe that art historian who said artists should be in the business of 'pose' invention. I will go through that score of sketches till you get the one that's right. Then it will be transformed into a shimmering array of lights and darks rendered in sharp wax pencil. Give me a holler and I'll show you what I mean. If needed your work will be expertly colored or vectorized in the computer. If too 'rendered' for your taste, cleaned up as well.If required as line art it is traced with a bush on vellum or auto traced digitally. As for Skill Rating, I know I'm 'Proficient' even 'Advanced' and like to think at what I do, I reliably do 'Expert'. In one form or other I've done every thing in the directories well enough to list. My customers seem to like my product, but for all of us these ratings are subjective. Subjective to you, subjective to me, subjective to graphic trends and mostly to the needs of the project. This is a cut and dry commercial venture with no 'surprises'. My aim, however, is to surpass expectations to your satisfaction in a way that fulfills the job and creates a sound but uplifting working relationship for the future or for this one transaction.

My name is Carston, and I’m obsessed with words. I recently received my Bachelor’s Degree in English from Portland State University, with a focus on editing and publishing. My goal is to make your writing shine, so that your message and voice comes through to your audience as strong as possible. Communication between the author and the editor is essential, and I’ll work with you every step of the way to ensure that your manuscript stays true to your vision. I am well-versed in the Chicago Manual of Style and MLA formats, and am willing to learn all others as necessary. I’ll tackle any editing job with gusto, whether it’s copyediting a short article or doing substantive editing for a 50,000 word novel. We can even arrange for handwritten editing of a printed manuscript if you’d like. No subject matter is off-limits and I will do everything I can to familiarize myself with what I don’t know. I am also an avid writer and can take on a wide variety of writing tasks, from ghostwriting to article development on a broad range of topics.
