Over the past 38 years I have worked as a freelance illustrator for clients from just about all fields of publishing and the media: television, magazines, textbooks, advertising, trade books, mass market books, professional journals, professional and medical organizations, electronic books, and game companies. I have also been a teaching artist for the past nine years, learning a great deal from the students I have the privilege of working with. I'm a native of Staten Island, New York, and a Pratt Institute summa *** laude graduate with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree. At Pratt I majored in Communications Design and Illustration, learning the business from some of the top professionals in the field. For my work as a teaching artist, I studied with the Community Word Project, Studio in a School, and the Staten Island Teaching Artists Institute. I create most of my color artwork using colored pencils and Photoshop. I do my black and white work in either pencil or pen and ink, and Photoshop.

Several decades of successful software engineering practice as both staff member and consultant, with a concentration in embedded systems. Over ten years of current experience in medical device development, following on the heels of many more years as a developer of operating code for professional electronic music products. Solid understanding of electronics (BSEE) and ability to work hands-on with digital and analog hardware down to the component level. Strong emphasis upon quality of code, including appropriate architecture design, logical organization of functionality, design for testability, rigorous testing of code as it is developed, human readability and ease of comprehension of source code, and clear source code documentation. Speedy development via thorough understanding of the complete system including hardware, careful problem analysis, preference for the simplest robust approach, anticipation of potential failure cases, minimization of special-case handling, and avoidance of counter-intuitive shortcuts and ”quick and dirty” implementations, always with the goal of creating code that immediately works as intended and can successfully be extended and modified by others without breaking, thereby avoiding time lost to debugging and the high cost of undetected bugs.

Wraiths Production is a Video Editing business. We are basically a youth group. Meaning we are all in our teens just trying to make money to afford things we really need. We're not JUST picking something like video editing, we ACTUALLY have skills in it. Also 2 years experience. We use mainly Premiere Elements and sometimes mac programs (which are as you know the best out). We DO record but if a camera is supplied. It is not our BEST thing but we can definitely do it especially if we're editing, it sort of makes the producing job better and easier.
