Hi, I’m RL Fain but I go by Jack. I’ve been in and around the industry for 38 years encompassing Television Video, Audio Production, Radio, Voiceovers, Web and Print media. I am a US Marine Corps veteran. I started with radio in 1979 and gradually made my way through the spectrum of the industry. I have been a videographer since 1990 as a production/commercial advertisement shooter with a 3 year run as videographer for “Spotlight On Branson”, syndicated program aired in the US. I was a Television Photojournalist from 1998 to 2016 with experience shooting at the Network level. I am now my own Production Company and am very much keeping all my industry skills current. I’m a one stop shop so to speak and very dependable, flexible and have a total understanding of deadlines. I work out to my home studio and I edit with the Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro CC, After Effects, Audition, etc.). I can also green screen or shoot on location. I use a Nikon D7200 DSLR and CanonXL-1 cameras. I also have a 12 ft camera jib w/motorized head, curving jib arm, lighting kits, audio (boom, hand held, cavaliers and headset microphones) and record digital audio with the Tascam DR-40 linear PCM digital recorder. As mentioned before, I also do Voiceovers from my studio as well.

Doina Paraschiv Brief profile: Born and educated in Romania, I was very fortunate when after Art School I landed a job with ANIMAFILM, the country's No.1 animation studio at the time. This enabled me to develop a wide array of skills and to acquire practical experience in drawing animation, cartooning, story-boarding, children's books illustration, slide shows, backgrounds and greeting cards illustration. Since moving to US, I earned my living as a professional illustrator, cartoonist, animator and graphic designer. I strived to establish myself and I welcomed every opportunity to work with prestigious companies such as Harcourt School Publishers, DIC Animation Studio, Filmation, or Cabbage Patch Kids, Inc.—among many others—and added numerous published artworks, children’s books and animations to my work roster. Maybe I should mention that I'm just as comfortable within the realm of graphic and illustration desktop applications as I am with the easel, paints and brushes. My comprehensive computer skills and expertise allow me to mix and match mediums and create digital artwork for print or web. I am an active member of SCBWI (Society of Children's Book Writers & Illustrators) and as my most recent accomplishments I can proudly list two Moonbeam Children Books Awards. In 2009 I also wan the CJA Best Art Award for "Zaria" comic strip, published in Chess Life for Kids Magazine since 2004. I love my work, I never get tired of it, and I never turn down a challenge. My approach to any project is passionate, as well as professional.
