Producer / Branding / Compositing & Motion Graphics Gia’s 20 years career in broadcasting started as a news reporter and news anchor in Romania, where she covered national and regional events for TVR Iasi and TV Bacau. While completing her degree in Semiotics, with emphasis on Film and Television at the American University, she developed and produced several award winning series of documentaries that showcased extraordinary people caught in ordinary post-revolution life cycles as well as ordinary humans pushed into extraordinary circumstances. As a result of the documentaries’ success, Gia was offered the producer position for a 4 year long talk-show, which she also hosted; an Oprah-style production with national and international guests that focused on extraordinary destinies. In 2000, Gia moved to the US, and started a new chapter in her professional life that concentrates on producing commercials and branding/identity segments. She acquired expert level editing and compositing skills that allow her to go beyond the producer role and actually take a project from concept to final render using After Effects, Photoshop, Premiere, Final Cut, Illustrator, etc. Besides creating traditional broadcast segments, Gia specialized in creating media for new, emerging platforms: large LED custom video walls located on the Las Vegas strip at Fashion Show Mall, Wynn and Sands Las Vegas. She also creates content for digital signage networks with action scripting and pixel mapping for such clients as Wynn, City of Dreams Macau, Venetian, Harrah’s, etc. The main focus of Gia’s projects is creating a fresh, new branding strategy that encapsulates the identity of a new or existing company, starting with the logo, continuing with all the printed materials and ending with all the media formats (broadcast, web ad, client DVD, digital signage, youtube segment, mobile ads) created strategically for the company’s specific target audience.

I am a skillful makeup artist, licensed cosmetologist and fashion stylist. I have over 20 years experience in my field. As an artist, I believe every person I touch is a gift to me, and my gift to you is beauty and confidence. First and foremost I am an Artist. I've used cosmetics as an artistic medium from a early age. It was like crayons for your face to the little me. I adore the transformation that exceptional hair and makeup can create. I love to make my clients happy and help them feel renewed and restored. I've been doing freelance hair, makeup and fashion styling work for 20 years now. A graduate from Paul Mitchel The School, I have now honed my hair cutting and coloring skills as well. I have worked on many fashion photo shoots. I enjoy working closely with a Photographer to create what I consider art. Though sometimes I get behind the camera myself. Having worked at a national camera store chain for 6 years and taking a black and white film photography in college, gives me a unique understanding of both photography and fashion. I
