I am Gerry Leibbrandt founder and owner of Prime Photos Limited. I started Prime Photography in 2001 and am an NZIPP Qualified portrait photographer. For the last 9 years I have been the medical photographer for the Wellington Regional Plastic, Maxillofacial & Burns Inpatient and Outpatient Unit. The Regional Unit is based at Hutt Hospital. Please read a recent testimonial from the PA to Professor Swee Tan, Annette Wikeepa. http://www.primephotos.com/portrait-photographer/Testimonials.html I have just upgraded my main studio camera to a Nikon D800 36.3MP FX-format CMOS sensor, Full HD 1080p video at 30/25/24p which will be excellent for doing the work you require. I have all Nikon prime lenses including a Ultra, Ultra wide 14 – 24 mm 1:2.8G, a 1.4 50mm and 2.8 60 MICRO with Nikon Ring Flash which I use for my medical photography. The work I do at the hospital requires me to be there every morning from 7.30 am till around 10am and also some full days photographing at various clinics at the hospital. The majority of my time at present is spent at my studio or doing commercial photography around the Wellington region. This would be the time when I would be available to work as a commercial freelance photographer. I take all of my images in RAW format using Capture One Pro to process the NEF files. All the hospital work is confidential and secure with three layers of backup’s onsite and offsite from the hospital. This contract is a personal contract between me personally and the Hutt Valley DHB. The same integrity and workflow applies for the studio portraits where we also only use the latest professional software namely, Photoshop CS5, Studio Plus and Preselect to name a few. I also have an extensive background in computers and I am responsible for maintaining all the computers in the studio. All backups are made on DVD’s, and three NAS drives. The third NAS drive is offsite and updated weekly. All studio monitors are calibrated with the latest “Spider” and synchronised with our professional lab, Queensberry. I hope that you would consider me and if so that we and get together soon to discuss the possibility of helping you in the Wellington region to provide an excellent service to your business as a commercial freelance photographer.

I have studied classical music since I was 5 years of age, starting out with violin, and adding flute, piano, vocals and guitar to my list of skills. I started composing music when I was 12. When it was time to attend university, I was accepted among many applicants into the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts to do a certificate IV in music composition, and accepted again the very next year to attend the Bachelor of Music Composition and Production at the same establishment, under the guidance of Lindsay Vickery and Dr. Cat Hope . I have written scores for several short films and written songs for special events, for example weddings and funerals.

I am an at home mother as of the past year. I grew up in northeast alabama before entering the U.S. Army where I was early retired due to medical injuries and now reside in the northern mountians of Georgia with my family. I have always loved to write and have even had a few of my poems published when I was in high school. Writing is something that has always come naturally to me and while I have had no real training I am completly confident in my ability and skill in this area and am looking for exposure. I am willing to gaurantee satisfation on any jobs given to me at this time and will work for free unless employer is satisfied enough to use my work. I have been through many things on my walk of life and have met many people I feel that this combined with my love for writing will take me far if given the chance to prove myself and I am simply looking for people to give me that chance. My main intrest in work at this time is ghost writing however I would also love to write poetry for important events such as weddings, birthdays, ext. All I need is a brief discription of the event and the people involved. If you have any further questions or advice please message me.
