Wife, mother, writer, and information technology geek. As a full-time freelance writer and stay at home mother, I have been blessed to have the opportunity to find my place as a writer in this new world with social media. I am currently a writer with www. Examiner.com where I do my best to bring awareness to mental health issues, gender equality, and self acceptance. I also cover local events in the Bryan/College Station, area of Texas. From current affairs to pop culture; writing for me comes naturally. University of Phoenix alumni, I have an associates degree in Information Technology and bachelors in Information Technology and Information System Security. Writing has been my passion since childhood. Earning my BS has taught me how to master all formats of writing.

I have been doing digital photo-manipulations since about 1999 and have been artistically inclined all my life. Photography, digital editing, and cartooning are my strong points, I believe and have always been incorporated into my 'day jobs'. I take what I do seriously, but try to keep it amusing when I can. I have no formal training other than a year at the Art Academy of Cincinnati back in the 80s that's pretty much a haze. My photography has appeared in a variety of magazines and I've done flyers, t-shirt designs, and album cover art for various local bands. Curious to see if this site can lead me to any more work!
