With more interest of introducing myself than just posting a resume, I'd like to start by saying that I've always been a grammatically correct type of individual. For many years I worked as Processor/Data Entry Clerk for a residential appraisal company and "close attention to detail" was my middle name. Researching information and personal assistance was needed from myself by the Appraiser once the appraisal was ready to be processed into a professional format for buyers, lenders, banks, etc... Sounds boring, I know, but I loved every minute of it so much that I encouraged myself to go to appraisal school. After receiving my Certification of Completion of all appraisal courses, life became a little interrupted when the recession hit and needless to say I never became a licensed appraiser, but fortunately was asked to tour Europe with a wonderful band seeing as I am also a performer/songwriter and hope one day to be a published writer. So if anyone needs proofreading, editing, word processing, data entry or research done, I'm your lady! Currently in between jobs and with plenty of time on my hands, I can completely make myself available for your project. Thanks Everyone

Hello, I am Jacob Elijah Hallinen and I create things. I believe in creating cohesive overall experiences in my projects, whether it is projects I’m designing or projects I’m collaborating on. I feel that projects should be unique and consistent. It’s this design aesthetic that forms the core of who I am as a designer. I create everything from brand new identity designs to developing and publishing a book series. I’ve created web sites and develop advertising strategies. Within design I have done a vast range of products, which creates an understanding of how to get your project done. What to see more: JACOBELIJAH.com (My general design site) SHADOWTACTICS.com (My illustration art site) GHOSTSPY.com (My comic book series) ...and I designed both websites from scratch.

Copywriting (emails, video sales letter scripts) Creative writing (including blog posts, short fiction, reviews, blurbs) Editing (including proofreading and developmental editing) Thanks for stopping by my profile here on Freelanced.com. I’m a copywriter (although I prefer to say “I use words to help businesses make more money.”) Oh, and I’m a fiction writer. Those two types of writing work together well to make you money. Here’s why… I study people. And their behavior. In good books and stories, people want to achieve…well, something. It varies from character to character. They may not know why, but they feel uneasy about something. Maybe it keeps them awake at night. Or depressed. And they feel powerless to stop it. It could be inside them, or an outside factor—the results are often the same. So do your prospects—even down to the tossing and turning at night, a lot of times. They have something in their life they’re not satisfied with, and want to change (after they become aware). In stories, characters find a solution (often through struggle), and their problem is solved. For your prospect, they find your solution (often hatched through your own struggle), and their problem or pain is eased or eliminated. I want to help you write that story—starting with your prospect, moving them past their problem with your solution, getting them to trust you, and moving you to profit.

I design, execute, analyze and report market research projects on a contract basis. I also accept freelance writing and editing assignments involving a broad range of writing styles, formats and degrees of complexity. Although some of my market research projects have been limited to competitive analysis based on secondary sources, it's more common that survey research is involved. Some examples... customer satisfaction surveys, user needs assessments, compensation/salary surveys, impact evaluations, psychometric and sociographics research, etc. I have written for newspapers and magazines and have held editorial positions for some. Writing research reports has obviously been a significant part of my MR activities, but I have also written technical reports and white papers. Blogging is also an activity that comes easy to me. I write a more serious weekly newsletter/blog for stock investors (http://TSX.ProfiTrend.com) and a lighter, general-interest blog on Toronto's live music scene (http://TorontoLiveClubHub.com).
