Experienced mechanical engineer with extensive history as a technical writer for the medical device and regulatory compliance fields. General technology writing experience as well. Significant writing accomplishments: •Provided over 30 clinical literature reviews to various clients that were accepted without revision by their respective Notified Bodies. In all cases, the products were approved for sale in the EU based in part upon the demonstrated safety and efficacy as shown by the analysis within the clinical literature review. •Completed a meta-analysis on 17 indications for use of an intraaortic balloon pump. Indications included cardiogenic shock, septic shock, and myocardial contusions, to name a few. The report covered over twelve years worth of literature and included over 200 citations. A complete statistical analysis was performed on all of the data for each indication, as if all the citations for that indication had come from a single source, to determine the overall success rate of intraaortic balloon pump therapy for that indication. This report was highly praised by the client as excellent research and has been successfully used by them for FDA and EU audits as well as for marketing literature. •Have prepared clinical literature reviews, conformity assessments, post-market analyses, and studies on safety and efficacy. Have written and published white papers on changing regulatory compliance guidelines for the EU and on how to prepare a meta-analysis. Co-hosted a regulatory compliance webinar with TUV, a Notified Body. Have presented multiple times at various medical device conferences on regulatory and reimbursement challenges for the medical device industry. Samples of published work: •Key Note Speaker. BIOMEDevice Forum 2009, December 9, 2009. Future Trends in Medical Devices. •Invited Guest Speaker. OMTEC Orthopaedic Manufacturing & Technology Conference & Expo, June 24-25, 2009. Podium presentations on Domestic and International Medical Device Reimbursement and Regulatory Changes and Keeping Current with What is New. •Co-Host of Webinar. Nerac Webinar Series, April 30, 2009. The Changing Directives in the European Union Medical Device Market: Are You Prepared for the March 2010 Deadline? With Jennifer Bromm, Medical Products Manager, TUV Notified Body. •White Paper. Christopher Freeman studied Theatre Arts at Ryerson University and has appeared in nearly forty professional productions across Canada, on stage, film and TV. He spent three years with Theatre Animation, conducting and coordinating hundreds of acting workshops throughout Ontario, and nearly five years working as a private acting coach in Toronto and Vancouver. As a founding member of the Toronto based comedy troupe, “Shy One Horse”, he wrote, acted and directed numerous sketches, appearing in clubs and on television. He also produced their entry, Hollywood North for Toronto’s Fringe Festival. In 1999, after moving to Quebec, Chris launched The Actor’s Workshop, in the Eastern Townships. Designed to discover the specifics of acting in a safe pressure-free environment, he encourages moving away from performance clichés while exploring the motivation within. He also taught On-Camera courses, for two years, at the New Actor’s Workshop in Montreal. Chris was a project animator for a 29-week, provincially funded, community outreach program for youth-at-risk. The Arts addressed themes such as vandalism in Brome Missisquoi. He co-found storyland3, in 2001 and went on to produce and direct nine plays with them, including Broadway Valentine, Cinderella, After the Ball and Letters Home. In 2003, Chris received Service Canada funding to run The Rural Theatre Project, an eight-month program in production-based environment. As Creative Director, he developed five more project-based programs throughout southwest Quebec; each designed to empower young adults with life and employment skills while focussing on sustainable community development. Over his career he has been involved with dozens of fundraisers and benefits for various community organizations and NGO’s. He has served on several Boards including MUCS (Montreal Urban Community Sustainability) and the Knowlton Players. He developed a feasibility proposal for Renaissance Centre, a multimillion dollar complex to foster social economic development through culture and tourism, and was a member of a Research Lab at Concordia University on the social economy. Along with his dozen plays mounted, Chris has written several films including the short, Cooked, a Toronto Film Challenge finalist. He has an extensive background in promotion including three years of direct marketing and is currently developing several projects including a feature film and a television comedy series, entitled No Business. “As we learn to develop technique we in fact enhance creativity; for it is structure, in work, in art, mainly in life, that frees the imagination and enables us to truly fly.”

I saw the job but I an not quite qualified but will be in a year or so. .I am a 58 year old form SC. I am very passionate about graphic design and my education. I am currently enrolled at Art Institute of Pittsburgh on-line division. I started school in July and I am a "Dream Student" according to my last professor. I have excelled in all of my classes and can get very high recommendations from my past professors. I would like like to work on this as an intern and work along with someone else. I do not expect and to be paid. I just want the experience. But places will not hire you if you do not have experience but you can not get experience if they will not hire you . I have been digital scrap booking for two years. I am using my passion and talent in making scrapbooks and taking it to the next level to become a graphic artist. That is my dream and my goal.
