I completed the Diploma Program at Malaspina University College (now Vancouver Island University) in Nanaimo BC. Shortly after finishing the program, I began to work as a sub-contractor to Aarbo Design in Parksville BC, a move which allowed me to build a varied body of work, some of which would be seen across Vancouver Island. Following my time with Aarbo, I worked at the Nanaimo News Bulletin, as a member of the Ad Layout & Creative Dept. I soon joined Gemella Design Inc. as a regular member of the design team and helped launch the firm’s Graphic Design department.
