A graduate from the Art Institute of New York City with a degree in interactive Media Design. I work as a Freelance Illustrator/Graphic Designer and front end Flash Web Designer. With years experience I have worked on projects containing video editing, sound design, graphic design, voice overs and logos. From an early age I began drawing and creating artwork. I have had the honor of working along side experienced professors completing school assignments as well as professional pieces. Up to date I have created many pieces of all variety. I like to experiment with many different types of media, including but not limited to the traditional pen and ink, markers and watercolor to digital coloring, web design, 2D animation, comics and storyboards. As an artist I get my inspiration from works created by various artists from comicbook greats, Japanime to more traditional arts and paintings. There very unique styles has inspired my own creations...and has allowed me to become multifaceted. With their influences I have been able to explore the vast possibilities of integrating my style of art into graphic design, webdesign, animation and other works.

I have been an Illustrator/Graphic Artist since I was a young teen starting out simply by entering in small art contests through out High school and progressing onto larger state level contests with decent success. I Graduated in 2005 and was awarded the "Arts Commencement Achievement Award" which is a Staff Voted Award only given to one Senior Class student when one is deserving. I was recommended for the award by my Advanced Arts Teacher who has been a professional Illustrator and Graphic Artist for Professional Athletes on The Pittsburgh Steelers, and Becket Magazine. After High school I attended Edinboro University of PA for 4.5 years studying Computer (3D) Animation & Graphic Design. While in my last year of school I was given the opportunity to work as a Production Assistant on an Independent Film (Currently in Final Editing) where I was the Lead Sound and Lighting Tech I. Soon after completing several location Film Shoots, I was hired as the Lead Graphic Artist & Craftsman for an up and coming Sign Company & its affiliated Custom Framing Company. Although I understand the difficulties which all small businesses face, I am only making $8.00 per hour at this time and feel as though my talents are not being compensated adequately. I am currently engaged to be married in March of 2011, and need to make sure that I am able to support and provide for my future wife and I as well as the family we hope to someday have. I have been told over the years from people I have a tallent I can make a career out of. Like most artists, I can always pick my work apart. But almost everyone who sees a drawing I have done is impressed and then asks "why aren't you doing this for money?" I have designed business logos for a half dozen companies, painted lettering on store fronts, and a few public murals. Not really knowing how to make a full time career with my art, I have been a self employed construction worker for the past 18 years. My art is usually more on the cartoon side rather than realistic, but I can sometimes pull off a true to life looking picture.

Photography is my second language, I've had a camera with me since I was six. I always was amazed to freeze a moment in time or to communicate my vision this way. In 1986 I bought my first reflex camera and discovered the world of possibilities when you direct the camera to express your message. Constantly learning and improving my skills, what I believe to be a never ending quest. Areas of expertise are Portraits, Environmental Portraits, Architecture, Landscape, Wild Life I would love the opportunity to discuss with you the challenge at hand and propose solutions to communicate clearly to your audience.

My resume: forward thinking, consistent, relative to the mainstream but not in it. Writing must be flawless and magnetic. My attitude has got to stay above the flow. I know I have a a choice: be like the rest or be myself. Period.
