Christopher Freeman studied Theatre Arts at Ryerson University and has appeared in nearly forty professional productions across Canada, on stage, film and TV. He spent three years with Theatre Animation, conducting and coordinating hundreds of acting workshops throughout Ontario, and nearly five years working as a private acting coach in Toronto and Vancouver. As a founding member of the Toronto based comedy troupe, “Shy One Horse”, he wrote, acted and directed numerous sketches, appearing in clubs and on television. He also produced their entry, Hollywood North for Toronto’s Fringe Festival. In 1999, after moving to Quebec, Chris launched The Actor’s Workshop, in the Eastern Townships. Designed to discover the specifics of acting in a safe pressure-free environment, he encourages moving away from performance clichés while exploring the motivation within. He also taught On-Camera courses, for two years, at the New Actor’s Workshop in Montreal. Chris was a project animator for a 29-week, provincially funded, community outreach program for youth-at-risk. The Arts addressed themes such as vandalism in Brome Missisquoi. He co-found storyland3, in 2001 and went on to produce and direct nine plays with them, including Broadway Valentine, Cinderella, After the Ball and Letters Home. In 2003, Chris received Service Canada funding to run The Rural Theatre Project, an eight-month program in production-based environment. As Creative Director, he developed five more project-based programs throughout southwest Quebec; each designed to empower young adults with life and employment skills while focussing on sustainable community development. Over his career he has been involved with dozens of fundraisers and benefits for various community organizations and NGO’s. He has served on several Boards including MUCS (Montreal Urban Community Sustainability) and the Knowlton Players. He developed a feasibility proposal for Renaissance Centre, a multimillion dollar complex to foster social economic development through culture and tourism, and was a member of a Research Lab at Concordia University on the social economy. Along with his dozen plays mounted, Chris has written several films including the short, Cooked, a Toronto Film Challenge finalist. He has an extensive background in promotion including three years of direct marketing and is currently developing several projects including a feature film and a television comedy series, entitled No Business. “As we learn to develop technique we in fact enhance creativity; for it is structure, in work, in art, mainly in life, that frees the imagination and enables us to truly fly.”

My name is Leanne Clark and I have been writing since the age of 6. I received my first Remington typewriter also at age 6 during the Christmas season and have not stopped writing since. In the past I only wrote about my adventures and things I knew, I now write about things I know as well as things I have to research which I love to do. I love knowing that the articles I am writing will not only help my employer but also those who are seeking an answer to some type of question and the research I do on any subject is in depth and well versed unless otherwise stated. Before I started writing full time, I worked in social services with intellectually handicapped adults as well as adults with mild to severe mental illness. The work I did with these adults opened my eyes to what is important in life and how wonderful people with disabilities are so, working with them taught me the type of laughter and discipline needed in order to get from day to day with the most optimistic attitude possible.

I have been writing since I was seven. Often times I would write poems or inspirational words at the edges of my notes during class. I started writing short stories at the age of 13. I have no specific genre that I conform to. I can write anything for anyone. Recently, I graduated from Queens University of Charlotte with a BA in Literature. I will warn you that I do not think linearly. I make random connections of seemingly unrelated items or subjects, and while I can show you how they are connected, you will still be amazed at how I came to such seemingly instant conclusions. I read every day in all kinds of subject matters, both in fiction and non-fiction. I rarely miss a mistake made. If I do miss one than you can bet the story/article is either that engrossing or just that boring.

My name is Xavier Pagan. I am an energetic individual with editing experience in both Final Cut Pro and Avid Express. I am very well organized and extremely motivated. I have both the education and technical skills required to perform. I have completed an Associate degree in Digital Filmmaking and Multimedia at the Katharine Gibbs School. This education has provided me with a strong background in other software such as Dreamweaver, Pro-Tools, Photoshop, DVD Studio Pro, Illustrator, and Flash.
