Born to Spanish speaking parents in Latin America, I completed my primary and secondary education in two Spanish speaking countries before making the decision to pursue a higher education in the United States, where I obtained a Bachelor of Science in Organizational Leadership and later an MBA. I worked for the University of Illinois in Chicago (UIC) for almost a decade translating and interpreting from English to Spanish and Spanish to English for a wide range of clients from all over Latin America. I worked on translations and interpretations for professionals, such as doctors, nurses, social workers, attorneys, school officials, therapists, managers, psychologists, government workers and numerous more. ? During my stay with UIC, I became the key person to go to when customized translation or interpretation was required. I am able to communicate effectively with fellow Spanish speaking individuals in their own dialect(s). After sever years of working in the Healthcare and Educational fields, I began a new journey transferring my knowledge to the banking world, where I focused on mortgage, and marketing, as well as other areas of banking where I could employ my bilingual skills. I am a member of the American Translators Association (ATA), and International Medical Interpreters Association (IMIA) and have an outstanding record in the Spanish Translation and Interpretation field. My focus is ensuring that your communication needs are accurate, localized, and presented on time.

I've always wanted to publish my own manga. It is one of my greatest dreams. My drawing skills are decent but what i really pride myself is my drawing speed. I can draw characters, backgrounds and stuff like that in a manner of minutes. I have my own unique style of drawing but can easily draw anime style or any other style that i am required to. I mainly like working on any manga style projects or comics.

I've been working in Photoshop since 2004, I know it like the back of my hand. Lately I have been working with Epic Digital, doing image extension, and cut up / rebuilding for the Marvel Augmented Reality animations in Avengers vs X Men among other titles. I'm confident that if you're looking for someone to do some Photoshop work for your projects, I'd be able to complete what's required of me in an expedient manner. This is one of the trailers I was able to work on for Marvel: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8qVJ3vUoV28&feature=plcp I was the colorist that worked on the interiors for Mystery Man, All About Eve by Jonathan Case: http://graphicpolicy.com/tag/jonathan-case/#jp-carousel-50036 Feel free to take a look at my deviant gallery for a good idea of the type of things I can do: jktcomics.deviantart.com/gallery Thank you for your time and consideration, John
