I am a 26 year old father of 3. I work as a para educator in the emotionally disturbed class in an inner city school. Throughout my own tumultuous life I have learned a great deal about the world. Writing has been my sanctuary and later evolved into a canvas onto which I could illustrate the things I was feeling as well as create deep and vivid characters to play host to the many extraordinary people I have come across. I currently run a new blog that is focused on self awareness and overcoming the many challenges created by being neglected and abused. My mantra is "Butterflies Are Crazy" and I use it frequently to describe the way the world seeks to harness the power we possess and keep us filled with fear and self doubt. I believe we can overcome the litany of labels and statistics and spread love and awareness throughout our communities. I am inspired and creative and hard working, and I would love to bring a unique viewpoint to your work, and develop your stories into deep, rich fulfilling narratives.

I sing in a band I created. I have recorded my own demo CD with a producer. I have vocal training from Saint Louis Community College and I have created my own girl group. I sing a wide variety of genres: pop, r&b, country, Christian/Gospel, rock, blues, and jazz. My sound is mellow, unique, bright, soft but fierce like a quiet storm type of voice, smooth and sometimes a little breathy depending upon what the song calls for. I have a unique voice and I try to tell a story with my voice and make the person feel what I'm feeling when I sing or talk. I write as a hobby science fiction, children, romantic, dramatic, and spiritual books and poetry. Also in my spare time I write articles, blog, write reports, and research topics. I write resumes and enjoy being a creative writer. I follow directions very well and I also work very well independently. I write daily poems and other writings on Facebook.com and Yearbook.com (Meetme.com). Most people like and love my work. I sing, speak and write passionately and I can't wait until I be able to share my work with you. So far I've done all this for free and as a hobby but now I'm looking to build a working portfolio of clients or customers. Thank you for reading. -Theresa Greer
