I currently write short subtle horror stories (which have been published), draw realistic pencil and single panel cartoons. I have over 70 single panel comics (Far Side Style), created iillustrations for a children's book entitled "Smart Fish Lake", and seven short stories. I also have published articles regarding Americanization in foreign countries. I enjoy writing and drawing and look forward to working with as many people as possible. My actual profession is related to Production Management, but this has not been too kind recently. I'm sure many can relate. I am finishing my MBA in Information Systems, with a BBA in Business Management. I have worked as a Plant Manager, Production Superintendent, etc. I believe I am in the wrong industry and can prove it by providing some exceptional work. I am in the middle of a transition in my life--temporary location--living with family. I can provide examples of both writing and artwork. Soon I will have my single comic panels on the Internet for many to view. If you want dedication and drive and exceptional work, I can make it happen. There is no use posting my resume--it provides 25 years of manufacturing management and has no artwork, writing, or acting experience. Oh, I forget to mention I auditioned for the first time in my life and got a starring part in a local production of "The Wizard of Oz". I do want to say God Bless Everyone and in my opinion, a more personal message has its significance.

I retired after thirty years in the healthcare industry where I wrote and edited many procedure manuals, resumes, memos, job descriptions etc. After retiring I started a gardening business (www.gardens4u.ca) where I design, plant, restore and/or maintain gardens. I spend most of my off season as a freelanced writer. I have a blog where I post on topics that inspire me, such as healthy living, parenting, current events and gardening; see them at www.loreeebee.ca

My name is Harold or Harry, I usually go by the moniker "Hammer". I am a comic style artist and writer of short fiction and I am trying to get started as a "working" artist. I'm looking for gigs doing either illustrating or writing, I'm not much of a storyboard artist although I have done it. I am good at concept art and cover art. I grew up drawing traditionally and have incorporated digital art into my work. I use Photoshop, Affinity Photo and also have an Ipad with Procreate (which I use the most). My favorite genre is fantasy adventure (Conan The Barbarian, Lord of the Rings, etc.) You can check out the body of my artwork on Instagram @the_art_of_hammer and if you want to check out some of my fiction work you can find some samples on my website here... https://www.theartofhammer.com/fantasy-fiction
