Jonathan Walker - Freelance Script Writing & Proofreading

Hi there. My name's Jonathan Walker. I'm a second year student at Staffordshire University studying script writing. During my time on the course, I've learnt what makes for a good story which will keep the audiences engaged from start to finish. I've also been fortunate enough to have met and interviewed Richard Curtis (the writer of Love Actually, Bridget Jones's Diary, and many more classics) who further helped my understanding of the art of writing. When writing, I like to challenge myself by working with different genres as well as having a go at feature length films alongside shows for TV; by doing this, my aim is to make myself more flexible, therefore I'm happy to take on any genre presented to me. I have a lot of motivation when it comes to writing, allowing for high quality, fairly quick first drafts. As well as scriptwriting, I've had training with the Sony NX70 camera and will soon be undertaking a training course for Adobe Premiere for editing. With this training, I've acted as producer, cameraman and contributed towards both the plot and editing (on Final Cut Pro) for a short film found in my portfolio. More films are planned over the next year. I also have experience at writing articles for magazines having had to create a magazine for an assignment. Also, I've created many posters, both for the magazine and other projects . As I wish to pursue a career in these fields, I'm not necessarily doing it for the money just yet, but rather for the exposure, to get my name out there. Therefore, I'm happy to take on certain projects for a very small price or even do it for free, so long as I'm credited for the work. If you have any questions or queries, or even just want to sample some of my work before consideration, feel free to get in touch. Thanks for reading, hope you have a great day!

My base hours of operation are Monday - Friday: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM US Pacific Time. However, I often work above and beyond the posted times as I take each project very seriously achieving high-quality results meeting or exceeding deadlines. Because of the high value placed upon our time together, it would only be fair to place a 50% retainer fee upfront prior to the start of each project here in the US with the balance being due upon completion. Internationally: It is policy to collect 100% of the retainer fee upfront prior to the start of each project. Expect regular and ongoing communications with me via cell communications, email, and web conferencing throughout the project. From inception al the way through to completion. Working together as a team for superior, high-quality results. Results you can count on while increasing your bottom line along with your net worth. Below is a fee schedule of my specialized services. More to be added and/ or adjusted based upon your needs and target market. Video and Podcast Scripts: $500 per minute with a 5 Minute Maximum Newsletters: $1500 per month Industry - Targeted Whitepapers:$2000 per piece Stand-Alone Email: $700 Autoresponders: $700 per series ( 7 Messages per series ) Will work on a volunteer trial basis for the first week to spec a project. I don't have an hourly rate. I work by the project. How much I'd charge depends on how much time I estimate that the whole project will take me. I could do something for you as cheap as 10$ but that would be something very simple. doesn't hurt to talk to me about what you have in mind.
