I became interested in graphic design in high school. I attended a 2 year trade program learning commercial art. I apprenticed with a silk-screen shop in my hometown and then went off to college. I graduated in May of 1996, with a Bachelor of arts from Purdue University. I was offered my first job with a packaging company later that year. During my nine year work career my tasks ranged from computer analyst to Human Resources. My design skills were used in internal marketing pieces for sales as well as giving them their first web presence. In 2006, my family moved to Michigan. At that time, I stayed home to care for my family and all the while continued my design skills by teaching myself the adobe suite package and furthering my knowledge on website design. The last 7 years have been dedicated to my children and freelance work. My portfolio consists of websites, power point presentations, brochures, flyers, logos, flash banner advertisement, and photo manipulation. Some of my recent clients include Cleary University and the Detroit Wine Organization. Thank you for your time and consideration.
