I am a seasoned and accomplished marketing/communications professional. My skill set is wide-ranging, but my speciality is copywriting - for print, for broadcast, and for new media. I am a talented writer, quite articulate, often translating complex ideas into clear, concise and coherent text. And when I’m finished, the copy is easy to read and easy to understand. Whether I write for business-to-business or business-to-consumer, I write to satisfy client needs and demands. And whether I crack off that perfect positioning statement, or create content for a full website, I execute the work in a timely manner and on budget. I conceive innovative ideas, and I create branding themes for products, as well as services - I take great pride in the ideas and approaches that I deliver. Throughout my career, I have serviced clients on the agency side and managed ad departments on the client side. I therefore bring a wealth of experience to every project. My background is extensive, covering the full spectrum of the marketing communications mix. And with my expertise in print, electronic and digital media, I carry each project from concept to completion. My computer skills are impeccable - primarily in the MAC environment. I am fluent in a wide range of programming applications, and proficient in digital production and commercial printing. And with my formal training in marketing and advertising, I execute my work in an environment that is highly organized and very detail oriented.

My name is Ken Bradford and I have worked in small business website design and business blog writing for over a decade. The design of a business website must be tailored to attract people and search engines. It is the best place to make a good first impression if the design is user friendly and delivers useful information. Anyone can start a blog, but only after mastering the building blocks for effective blog writing, can it be successful. Business blogging is about telling stories that inform, educate, or entertain a target audience. Content marketing is much more that just broadcasting information. I enjoy helping businesses communicate, connect, and engage their target audience. I have the passion, commitment, and self motivation skills necessary to get the job done. I write on a variety of topics and have written blog articles, web copy, presentations, and white papers for a variety of businesses. I research practically every article I write, even if it's on a familiar topic. I want to make sure the information is current. There really aren't any new web content ideas, so my expertise in putting my own spin on the topic makes the article unique. I always write with on-page SEO in mind which insures my blog articles or other web content are already properly optimized by the time I'm finished writing. In web content, like most everything else, you really do get what you pay for. I get paid to help people de-stress and simplify their blogs, websites, and more importantly, their lives. A perfect situation that leaves both of us happy. I also enjoy graphic and web design. I have designed graphics and websites for many different types of businesses, including insurance agencies, candle companies, discount dental plans, coffee shops, and many others. I designed and maintain my own business website, as well as, five personal blogs. I have written web content for many online services, including About.com, Helium Publishing, BlogMutt, EZine Aricles, and LinkedIn Pulse. I have recently co-written "Writing Better Web Content", a popular online self-help book for freelance writers. I have just published "Walking Life's Road", a book about spiritual living and growth. When your blogging or web content calendar is full and you have run out of new ideas, I'm the person you can count on to deliver the type of web content you need.

I love drawing (from life). It's only when actually engaged in drawing that you really see properly. It's only during the act that you can begin to know the true visual splendour of the world. Most of the time our eyes skate over things, just registering enough to navigate by. Although at the time what goes down on the page always falls short of the scene that is demanding to be recorded, later, when you look at what you've done, there will be elements that seem to be of unkown skill and perfection. Although drawings are an esential springboard to painting, they should not comandeer what ends up on canvas. Memory of the event must be allowed to colour the result, and also the medium itself must be allowed it's say. Mistakes, dribbles etc. can always be incorporated and edited so that they become fortuitous and allow you to surpass your expectations. The final result may be radically or entirelly different from one's initial plans. The element of surprise is what keeps painting fresh and thrilling. Often the logic of the work is not apparent untill some time after it's completion. It's sometimes a source of wonder how strong the premonitory or predictive element can be. I wonder if other people have noticed this. I have had solo exhibitions in London, Paris, New York, Tokyo and group exhibitions in Oxford, Kawasaki and many places inbetween. For full exhibition list see my website: www.justinearl.co.uk
