born during the great blizzrd of '47, new york, ny, i was unwillingly relocated by my family to a tract house,1 of 99, in a dismal l.i. suburb from which i left thus fulfilling my third primary ambition in life [the first of which was getting big enough for my feet to touch the floor while sitting in a chair and the second of course was losing my virginity] bound for the great wisconsin land grant university where i primarily learned to demonstrate against a war, use non-prescription drugs and continue to have *** as frequently as was possible, only to migrate to chicago where, leaving a job as a teacher and a lousy teacher i was, i taught myself to play the mandolin and guitar and ventured forth into a career as a professional musician playing and doing whatever made the phone ring only to find myself back in wisconsin 25 years later and my doesn't time fly. my primary ambition like my third is to blow this hamlet as it is as mind numbing as was my tract house origins. i close with a saying of my late and sainted mother. "don't let the bastards get you down." thank you for your kind attention.

I seek opportunities that enable me to use my educational and work experience as well as a counseling skill in serving those youth, agencies, organizations, and educational institutions which share my goals and commitment to others. In addition, in the future, I plan to seek licensure and certification which will provide additional opportunities to work with families and youth, and in doing so, I can continue my work as an agent for positive change. I also diligently pursue association with those organizations which demonstrate a professional commitment and awareness to the educational and social needs of youth and their families. I believe I am able to make those applications to the world outside the classroom through my knowledge and experience in a variety of related settings, and in doing so, will enable me to continue to make those significant contributions I have made throughout my career. Although I am now retired from public education with VSRS benefits, I do not consider myself to be formally retired, nor may I ever will. I am currently involved in a variety of positions where I am able to apply my skills, abilities, and those forms of involvement which I may have always hoped for upon retirement. As a former Certified Proofreader for a law firm, I recall the enjoyment of producing a finished product which provided me with the fulfillment of assisting others in tasks that were very important to them. My M.Ed. in Counseling helped me more than I ever realized it would as I would move from my skills as a Proofreader and utilize my contribution as a Counselor in the completion of our task. This was perhaps the “job” that I recall enjoying most, for I was able to develop close working relationships with others while making significant contributions. Personal & Health I live in the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia with my wife Barbara, (teacher) and sons Justin and Aaron. I have an active interest in sports, health & fitness, (6-6, 255) music, community events, our church, and The Arts. I have recently completed my twenty-eighth year in public education and am planning to continue to utilize my communication and counseling skill in areas which provide opportunities to utilize my skills in assisting others. I consider my work as a service to others a personal priority as well as an obligation. References Available Upon Request

I'm one of the best copywriters on the planet and have dozens of awards for creative excellence to back that statement up. Whatever your project is, I can handle it. I've done over a hundred websites and more brochures, ads, radio/tv, postcards, direct mail and collateral material than I can count. My subject matter knows no bounds, and I have clients in a dozen countries. Why am I so successful? Because my copy has sold literally hundreds-of-millions of $$ worth of products and services. I would not kid you about this. And the frosting on the cake: as a former president/creative director for a $20 million ad/pr agency I started from scratch (now sold), I know more than writing ... I know marketing. What works, what doesn't, and what it takes to generate demand for your product or service. My prices are always reasonable. Why settle for anything less than the best?
