I am an English major and had done 3-year teaching in High School, thus, I'm highly capable of doing proofreading under high-stress or pressure. Ideally, writing for a fashion blog or an online magazine is a dream for me. I have published some of my writings on my hubpage: http://lolaestrella.hubpages.com/ I'm highly organized and excellent in doing independent research in order to ensure that my writing is a masterpiece. I also have a background in both fashion and writing.

I have worked as a medical receptionist for more than 5 years. I was responsible for scheduling patients in a multi-provider practice. Attention to detail was extremely important for both billing purposes and HIPAA compliance. I also contributed to developing pamphlets on diseases such as diabetes and high blood pressure which were handed out to patients. Quick and efficient data entry skills were a must. I also had to be able to resolve a myriad of patient concerns to keep the office running smoothly. I also helped schedule and invoice appointments for a carpet cleaning business for more than 3 years. I was responsible for making sure the technicians had the correct invoices for the day. I also checked to make sure that any "add ons" done at the job were reflected in the final invoice. I sent out bulk mailings on a quarterly basis. These went to both current customers and list names which had been purchased.
