OBJECTIVE I am seeking freelance writing, proofreading/editorial, and research projects on a home-based basis. For the past ten years, I have been working as a ghostwriter on a variety of projects. PERSONAL STATEMENT Up to and including 1991, I had been a practicing psychotherapist. Due to what turned into a chronic medical disability, I needed to discontinue my practice of psychotherapy and, subsequently, seek other areas of interest. Because of my educational background (Temple University, Union Institute, and many years of psychoanalytic training), I was able to make use of my writing and editorial skills. I have also become a proficient researcher and transcriber over the years. My transcribing skills have been acknowledged in two books about psychotherapy, which I can document for you, if you wish. From 1979 to 1990, I functioned as an administrative assistant for a psychoanalytic training institute, as well as the administrator for its treatment facility. As I am now 58 years old, I believe that I possess the maturity and sense of integrity that makes me able to work without supervision. I can be counted on to complete tasks in a successful and timely manner .
