I have 15+ years of formal figure drawing, and fine art training. I have been drawing and painting my whole life. I was fortunate enough to be able to take 7 years of figure drawing classes before I even graduated High school. My creative ability is expressed mostly in traditional media, although I am capable of combining digital aspects to my traditional work. My artistic talent has mostly been private, and for my own enjoyment, but I am now opening my skills to the public as a profession. Not only to Further myself as a professional artist, but to eventually be able to make a living utilizing my passion for creating.

Everything I know about drawing comes natural. I created a Christmas coloring book for my church. It showed the story of Jesus's birth. Have done some wall murals for children's rooms. Once did illustrations for a doctor in Hattiesburg, MS. He was writing an anatomy text book and he hired me and many others to draw his illustrations for him. He paid me $10.00 an hour. He would give me examples of what he wanted and I would go from there. He would give me about 10 drawings to do a week. I usually would do about four very detailed drawings in a day. Last I heard he was working on getting it published. I'm always looking for other freelance jobs. I love to draw animals like you would find in a children's books. I now have a drawing tablet that gives me the ability to draw straight to the computer. You can look me up on Facebook and see my portfolio.

I spend most of my time teaching college composition courses and directing a small private school, but I like to write on the side. I have an MS in English Literature and Writing. Writing style is humorous (often sarcastic), logical, organized with strong structural cues, and very informative. Best genres are expository, argumentative, and reflective.
