I covered topics that subjected the teenage social life; things such as bullying, homosexuality, gangs, drugs, ***, and music. A moment that really impacted my life was when the principal of the school had rejected a piece that myself and few other members of my group had wrote together dealing with homosexuality and homophobia. He had said that the piece was too controversial and inappropriate for school purposes. My teacher, Mr. Chapin, whom was a strange, but brilliant writer, had commended us for the piece, and is really the reason why I am so determined to break barriers with my writing. Upon graduating Huguenot High School in 2011, I am Certified with Microsoft Word 2007. I have maximum experience with Word, PowerPoint, and minimum experience with Excel. The first college I attended was J. Sergeant Reynolds Community where I majored in Liberal Arts/Mass Communications. I did not complete my course, due to my effort to begin working for family issues.
