I have recently graduated from Bournemouth University with a (2:1) degree in Computer Animation Arts. The position I am seeking is modelling and texturing artist. I have a versatile artistic style with a passion for character and environment design and storyboarding. I intend to work in the games industry as I feel it is now at its most exciting stage in the history of games and the only limit is our imagination. I have a considerable knowledge of modelling in Maya, texturing in Photoshop and sculpting in zBrush. One of my great interests is the human anatomy and I have excellent life drawing skills. My influences cover the whole spectrum of art, from Caravaggio and Hopper to Frazetta and Moebius. Games have always been a big part of my life, since the Commodore 64, right up to the PS3 and the Xbox. I have always been interested in the design of games as well as what makes great gameplay. I am most interested in the way that games instantly project you into another world, the design, the characters and the worlds they inhabit, the sound effects, lighting, atmospherics and all the little details, which make the gaming experience more realistic. Every project I am involved in is approached with a hard but enjoyable work ethic. I am creative and imaginative and inspired by creative people. I have great communication skills and I am very capable of meeting deadlines in a demanding work environment. I hope to hear from you soon.

I am an artist. I work as an office manager and painting contractor for MEM Remodeling & More. I am always interested in doing art projects on the side as my career choice gives me great leniency in my schedule. I have created logos, banners, signs and murals for many companies. I am great in naturalism, surrealism and cartooning. I prefer mixed media and I am experienced in Oil, acrylic, water color, pastels, water color pencils, graphite pencils, charcoals, sculpting, moldings and anything else I can get my hands on. I have worked in collaboration with many other artists in many settings; ie...magazine articles, sculpted tile and replications for retail. I also do faux painting and antiquing. I have many art classes and lessons behind me. All of my teachers have told me I am far above most in ability.

My name is Preston Leon Chalmers, Jr. and I am a 20 year old college student at ITT Technical Institute. Writing is a strong passion of mines, with the exception of computer engineering. When I was a Junior in High School, I participated in the high school newspaper/journalism team. I was responsible for the Freelance writing portion of the paper. I covered topics that subjected the teenage social life; things such as bullying, homosexuality, gangs, drugs, ***, and music. A moment that really impacted my life was when the principal of the school had rejected a piece that myself and few other members of my group had wrote together dealing with homosexuality and homophobia. He had said that the piece was too controversial and inappropriate for school purposes. My teacher, Mr. Chapin, whom was a strange, but brilliant writer, had commended us for the piece, and is really the reason why I am so determined to break barriers with my writing. Upon graduating Huguenot High School in 2011, I am Certified with Microsoft Word 2007. I have maximum experience with Word, PowerPoint, and minimum experience with Excel. The first college I attended was J. Sergeant Reynolds Community where I majored in Liberal Arts/Mass Communications. I did not complete my course, due to my effort to begin working for family issues. Nevertheless, I went back and switched my major to Information Technology. On my spare time, I like to record and write music. I have been doing music since I was 8 years old. I am songwriter as well, and I have written Hip-Hop/R&B songs for local acts around my neighborhood and other parts of Richmond, VA. So if anyone needs a song written or a jingle for a commercial, feel free to contact me. I am destined to making a living and a future out of my writing. Whether it be with music, television, movies, and/or journalism, I want people to not just read my writing, but understand the passion behind and where my opinions and statements derive from.
