I have worked through the ranks of a weekly newspaper for the past 8 years. I am the journalist, photographer, graphics designer, and now copy editor and designer. My first love for the job was the writing and designing of it and that remains to be true to this day. The newspaper itself is small and covers the happenings of a population 700 city. I cover any events from writing about the local town board to the school's high school basketball team. I also was recently selected by a drug and alcohol program to be their event photographer based upon my past performance with them this year and the photographic results they desired.
