My name is Beau Wakefield and it is seriously my life goal to be a full-time comic book artist. My brother and I have launched two short-lived, small time series from our company Alternate Reality Comics; Captain Cure (an illustrated comic book series geared toward children with cancer) and the self-titled Alternate Reality Comics Volumes 1 and 2 (a rollback to the classic Vault of Horror or Tales from the Crypt collections). My brother has since passed away and the company has gone under, perhaps never to resurface, yet I still want to continue in our endeavor. I have experience in writing, penciling, inking, and some self-taught Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator techniques. Examples can be sent via email.

Christina’s the Amazing Artist- Bibolography My name is Christina Long, I was born (1989) in a city called Los Angeles California. I still remember exactly how my interest in drawing and painting was born. When I was about in the age of 18, I first discover myself as artist when I was drawing self portraits of my things I seen around the house. Between some old stuff I found my old sketch portfolio that I did in high school. It showed stuff that I did from stick figures to my amazing artwork that I did when I got really professional with my amazing art piece. I enter this art contest for Maxine Waters’s art competition and I won first place in her district in California. My first art piece was Martin Luther King it was done in mixed media. I started this first drawing when I was in high school in the year of 2007. But my masterpiece, in a matter of way it impressed me. I studied the scene different artwork history and get to know more about a lot of the artists. Up until that moment I was sent two tickets to fly out to Maxine Water’s district office in Washington, Dc for the ceremony with others artist across the globe from different high school. Later when I came in the living room I asked my parents about the painting and drawing. My father liked my first drawing that I won in the art contest. He told me to continue to developed different styles of your work and I did. This is how I became a professional artist. I never realized it but this must have been the moment that my creative mind was triggered. Nowadays my passion for art and music takes a different place in my life. This was the moment I picked up drawing again. I started with drawing celebrities’ portraits, abstracts and landscapes. It lasted to the summer of 2007 before I gave it a shot. I decided to start with a portrait of transparent abstract portrait of shapes. I liked the result and decided doing more and more. I’m currently taking a 2 dimensional design class right now at West La College and next semester I’m taking a 3 dimensional design class to get my AA degree this year in 2012. My goals are to get a job in art as an artist and continuing my education for art so I can get Masters Degree in arts. If you are interested in one of these paintings I would be pleased hearing from you. Would you like to have your, your partner or children’s portrait painted, or you are looking for a unique present, perhaps I can help you.

I have been a singer/songwriter, score composer and recording artist for nearly two decades. I have my own professional recording studio in my home, two synthesizers and a melange of instruments I've collected over the years. I am completely versatile in style and love diving into the unknown when it comes to songwriting. The bigger the challenge, the more passionate I become. I have composed and recorded scores for short films, promotional videos and film trailers. I have written, recorded and produced three of my own albums and have co-wrote music and lyrics for many others. I offer my voice, composition skills, musicality, recording ability and producer skills for hire.
