I would use oils,that is my medium,on canvas an like your photo,i can improvise on places that are not so clear. I usually paint 16x20 just because they are easy to ship--it will be realistic though,i can make it a classical portrait painting if you like,let me know. A little larger will be fine-like to make soft and elegant.
