I haven't been feeling very well. Blood sugars are out of whack. But I am working to get them back to where they should be and they are headed that way slowly. Baby grandson caught a sinus infection but is on antibiotics and on the mend. Bad news about my Dad though. He had prostrate cancer, but it has now spread to his bladder. They scraped away about 90% of the tumour and hope to get rid of the rest with radiation. My Dad is 89 but one of the most active, positive people I know, and having a positive attitude is very important when dealing with Cancer. I have many tests coming up in October and November, but my ultrasound came back and there is no cancer in my liver. So we hope to keep it that way. Oh you were asking about my cold. Sorry I got carried away. My cold and asthma settled right down. I attribute some of that quick recovery to that special flower you allowed me to use as my wall paper on my computer. How are you doing? Healthy I hope. But as always, I know you are extremely talented and a kind, sweet woman who we have to find a teddy bear for. :)

My prayers go out to you and your family, Ingrid. I hope that you all have speedy recoveries. I know you are sad about your Dad...please remember God's strength and ask for his guidance. I am okay...making changes and there is someone in my life now....I am close friends with Roberto :)

I'm so happy to hear that Cirrelia! You deserve to be happy! Thank you for your prayers. My Dad is a very strong man with a positive attitude, I think we will be blessed with his presence for several more years. Or at least that is what I am praying for. I saw a surgeon today, he told me that I am a very special person. He said there only 5% of people who develop fatty liver disease that actually end up with cirrhosis of the liver and of those only 1 out of 5 end up with damage to their liver. But he was wonderful, Took time and explained even more stuff to me and my daughter, and provided hope, the most important thing that you need when you have any illness. He also told me that he felt I did not need surgery at this time, as my pain from the expansion of my liver has subsided. So I'm all for no surgery! Doing my happy dance here. lol :) Keep those prayers a coming though, cause I want to be around for a long long time yet. I have a grandson to influence, as you may recall. lol :) Thanks for all your kindness and caring Cirrelia!

Oh, Ingrid, my heart goes out to you and your family,

Thank you Grace. But that is life isn't it. Trials and tribulations, and problem solving. No one goes through life unscathed, and sometimes, the lessons you learn are worth the pain. My liver has forced me to find a different way to earn a living, and I am loving it. I always dreamed of writing books, editing, and so much more. Had I not had the problem with my liver, I never would have pushed myself to do my writing, and it has paid off tremendously. In a way, it is a blessing. What more could anyone ask for in life than to do the things you love to do. :)

Beautiful picture and colors..I have seen similar scenes before when I was younger-out on a boat fishing with friends. Unfortunately at this point where the sun just started going down the state bird (Mosquito!) appeared out of nowhere by the THOUSANDS and we had to rush to shore with the boat and RUN before they carried us away ha ha! ;-b

This one had a bit of editing done to it...Although the original was just as engaging to me...I shot it at sunrise when it was cool and crisp...Thanks for your words about it, Dara, my dear :))
