Hahaha, how so true Jesse, I call people like this the walking dead, ....I have met very few awake people, you know what I mean?
Jesse Friesen - Over 30 days ago
I'm not sure if I am 'awake' in the metaphorical sense, but yes, I do walk around with my eyes open lol.
Janet Bradley - Over 30 days ago
Awareness is everything, haha we are never completely awake, but you have that eagles birds eye perspective with some humbleness ingrained.

Thank you, Janet.

Awesome man. I laughed at a lot of this. Janet's right man - a lot of truth in this - especially in our thoughts at the time.

Thanks, Andy. I'm glad you got a laugh out of it and at the same time could pull more meaning other than just humor from it. This poem was a blast to write because I've been thinking about writing about him for a while I just never got to it.

Lol! I respect you immensely for saying what is most likely on the minds of everyone around when they hear this guy! I can't stop laughing.. I have one of these guys floating around my city too, but it's a random siting, he's all over the place. I can manage to keep my mental comments positive, but it's been out of my control when he attempts to hit on me that the voices in my head ARE NOT very nice to him!! Haha, oh goodness.. Now when I see him I keep my eyes on the ground! :P

lol. I find them highly entertaining, and thankfully, none of them hit on me, although I have had a few homeless ladies tell me I am 'handsome', but that's no big deal, they are usually talking from high above the stars anyway, if you know what I mean.
I've met and seen a lot of those type of personalities, and they are always a pleasure to write about.

I am the first person to speak to anyone, seriously! Plus I seem to exude this aura that can be seen by ALL that I am very approachable, and I never dismiss anyone, unless they cross a line that I cannot handle, and without detail, this guy did that. Lol. I don't avoid people as a habit, and I am even the person at the bus stop OFFERING cigarettes before anyone has the chance to even ask!! Haha, I can always tell when I pull mine out who starts itching for one, and it makes people's day haha
Anyway, just wanted to make that clear, not too many people create a reaction in me to keep my eyes on the ground, but he has that power!! Lol :P
And whether they're high above the stars or not, you are handsome bud!! So take those homeless ladies compliments to heart :P

I'm the opposite in that I don't care to meet anyone really lol. Honestly, I like keeping to myself for the most part, and I enjoy being alone most of the time on my days off so I can just sit down, drink, and write. That's cool of you to do that though because there aren't many decent people like that around anymore.

Oh, well don't get it twisted, haha. I am introverted to say the least, definitely a hermit to put it mildly. But when and if I go do my thing, whatever it is that needs doing, I'm very extroverted. I'd go crazy in a completely BAD way if I didn't have my very valued solitude time. o:)
Jesse Friesen - Over 30 days ago
That's a good quality to have. You sound like you can embrace both.
Tamara-Lynn Palmquist - Over 30 days ago
Most definitely. There's a limit to the extroverted though... I need to be introverted on a very regular basis to recharge the extroverted capabilities. :P

As all great masters do!
