I found it quite difficult to write a synopsis of how I view philosophy in a poem since the topic is so incredibly dense and in my opinion is beyond explanation, so for you to say that is great encouragement.

I thought you did a marvelous Job Jessie. You definitely captured and captivated my attention wondering where you would take it, you have a brilliant mind my friend! Hard to believe you are so young, you have gone through some experience.....

Again, thank you, and I am really pleased that this poem "captured and captivated" your attention.
I believe that all of us struggle with existential crisis to some degree, and some of us with more harsh realities than others, but what separates the artist is a hypersensitivity to that experience.

I tend to like a movie better the second time I watch it. I kind of feel the same way with your poetry. It's easy to get lost in the smooth-flowing, brilliant style... then the second read I start to understand the content. Philosophy is of great interst to me. I think "absurdity" is the perfect way to end this. Kierkegaard is one of my favorite philosophers.

I think you are right. I don't expect people to understand the meaning at the moment they read my work, I am just glad they do look for it, because it's there. I personally enjoy reading Nietzsche above all others, but I love philosophy as a whole because of the creativity that has to be used, and the creativity it creates in the readers mind.

"God is dead." - So what now? Nietzsche and nihilism really get people thinking. Nietzsche was an inspiration to Jim Morrison - one of my all-time favorites.

Nietzsche seems to be very popular with many eccentric personalities, probably because he questions the validity of thought being used as a mechanism to find truth, and for an artist that is very endearing, at least for me it is. "There are no facts, only interpretations".
My favorite quote by Nietzsche is: "'And those who were seen dancing were thought to be insane by those who could not hear the music". Good stuff.

Sure is.
