Wow ya it seems it is getting like that all over the country! Here in Houston it seems hotter and more humid than ever-same thing-100+ heat indexes but we have that a lot-it is Houston..;-b A friend that lives in Northern Wisconsin told me they are getting the same 100+ heat indexes geez..and it is only the first of July ugh! Hate being stuck inside and I LOVE hot weather-just not the really high humidity. I walk or ride bike everywhere so imagine ha ha! It is nice hearing from you-I hope you are keeping busy and prospering. Keep cool my friend! :-)

Hey, Dara my dear! I hope you had a great week and are ready for the weekend. I tell you I am. It's supposed to cool off due to a cold front. The heat wave we've been having will be history. Yay! I wish the same cooling effect for your area...Well, this is July...August should be cooler (fingers crossed). Hugs to you :)

Haha-We had a really nice end of Winter and early Spring with perfect temps (75-80) and low humidity-rare for us so I cannot complain too much about the usual 90-100 temps and 85% humidity..well, I CAN..;-b I want to be in NEW MEXICO right now! ;-D If I had the opportunity I would be outta here and there in a minute! they do get a bit cool for me and snow sometimes (in the area i would go that is not North or too close to Mountains ) just no opportunity there YET..would be really nice to get away from the stress of big city and that would be extreme difference as is pretty remote in most areas there..;-) I hope to at least be getting out of Houston as soon as I can ugh..so tired of this place.Nothing here for me and it is NOT for creative people at all.Send me positive vibes that I get the opportunity to get out of here soon ha! ;-D Have a great weekend my friend! The weekend was bearable in terms of the heat. Today, Sunday, it is cool and there is a breeze with low humidity. I think you should move to the East. We get a moderate climate. Although I have never been to Houston, I know it is a big city. Newport News is a suburb. There is more land than buildings. I love the area as we are close to Williamsburg, Hampton, Norfolk, and Virginia Beach. I hope you have a fine week ahead, my talented friend. Hugs, Cirrelia

We have been getting nothing but RAIN and HUMIDITY lately with the high temps! UGH!!! We are supposed to be sub-tropical but I think we are turning more Tropical and it reminds me of the rain forests in South America..ack..too much rain and humidity! I HATE cold though -.grew up mostly in the North with super cold temps.blizzards,etc and hate ice and snow-that is why i moved South ha ha! To get away from all that nasty cold-all I felt like doing was HIBERNATING! depressing-got nothing done at all.;-D I am a warm/hot weather/Sun person.. Not many places I can go where it never snows or freezes ha. i love New Mexico(and some parts Arizona) but depending on where you go it does get colder there than here and snows esp closer tot he mountains but humidity is a lot lower so is a trade off I guess! :-) Wish I could go there-I would in a heartbeat! I hope you have an amazing week too my equally talented friend! :-) Dara
