Aberdeen!!..Love that name!!..I really really liked this one Andy and as disturbed as his life was, you still managed to put a peaceful presence throughout it!!....When he died,,,,,another 20yrs plus icon vanished from the world!!

Thank you both. And Aberdeen is actually also a small town in Washington. Sine Kurt's death one of Aberdeen's welcome sign's has read "Welcome to Aberdeen: Come As You Are."

This jewel is very bitter sweet as it hits social notes and its suppressive effects on the creative geniuses of society. Because Kurt grew up in a region where I lived, it has a personal effect on me. Andy you did a beautiful job convey Kurt's pain and being his champion hero! Kurt is thanking you now!

Janet!! Thank you so much, I am glad you liked it.

There's just something about Kurt - kind of a hero and also cautionary tale to a lot of artists. What helps me sympathize with his situation is that he had major stomach issues - he wasn't just hiding behind a needle. If someone's in pain it is acceptable to take whatever means necessary to treat it.

It's sad what happened with Kurt as he seemed like a great guy, but it's nice that people remember the resilient guy, and exceptional artist he was. He was Grunge, and Grunge was Kurt.

Bittersweet, lyrical, and very sad...Kurt Cobain died too young. I know that is a cliché, but I feel he slipped through the surly bounds before he was ready--before we all were....

Amen, my friend. Not just valuable, invaluable.

You envision life like me in a lot of ways. I believe that every one of the artists you mentioned slipped through the plane of life into the bounds of death way before their time. I am a huge James Dean fan. He, like Cobain, Hendrix, and Winehouse, are restless spirits...Why? The public will not let them rest in peace. Thus, they are like ghosts who haunt us with their music or films. Of course, they were gifted, but beyond their talents, they had charisma. They could capture the souls of the public through their creativity. And, they always will...

I think people loved their energy. Their crazy lifestyles were part of who they were - part of their mystique. They do seem sort of immortalized.
