Commissioned drawing of proposed "Mars passenger landing vehicle" from client's specifications. I really don't think this design is feasibly supported by science and aerodynamics, but the customer VERY SPECIFICALLY wanted an airliner type body landing vertically.

Yep, I was in up in Ohio in the dead of winter checking up on my Mom(my Dad and both my brothers died fairly recently), and I didn't bring any supplies, so I bought a six buck box of pastels to play with. I tweaked it a little in Sketchbook Pro.

Guy! How tragic and unfair! My mother just lost her boyfriend of 20 years and is a mess. I can't even imagine how your mother must feel, or yourself. I'm so sorry to hear this news. I hope you and your mom both have good support From the folks close to you — emotionally as well as geographically. I'm so glad that you are there for your mom. Just be sure you let people be there for you as well. I know how you guys can be, although you have an important advantage as artist, who are usually much more sensitive to, and in touch with their emotions so as not to hold things in, letting it eat away at their insides. I hope you are able to use your art as an emotional outlet. Please don't be afraid to ask for help to get through this. Were you the middle brother by any chance? My family will keep you and your mom on our prayer list for sure.
