Doina Paraschiv Brief profile: Born and educated in Romania, I was very fortunate when after Art School I landed a job with ANIMAFILM, the country's No.1 animation studio at the time. Since moving to US, I earned my living as a professional illustrator, cartoonist, animator and graphic designer. I strived to establish myself and I welcomed every opportunity to work with prestigious companies such as Harcourt School Publishers, DIC Animation Studio, Filmation, or Cabbage Patch Kids, Inc.—among many others—and added numerous published artworks, children’s books and animations to my work roster. Maybe I should mention that I'm just as comfortable within the realm of graphic and illustration desktop applications as I am with the easel, paints and brushes. My comprehensive computer skills and expertise allow me to mix and match mediums and create digital artwork for print or web.
