I grew up around music. My father has been a DJ long before I was born and was the music producer for the groups All-4-One and Nu Flavor. I have been writing lyrics and poems since I was a child. It's a passion I steered away from to further my education. Since I am a graduating senior, I have been bombarded with overwhelmed feelings of what I should do after graduation. I thought I should begin to follow my passion and my heart, just as I did as a child. I began in an arts elementary school called Valencia Park Elementary, graduated from a middle school/high school called San Diego School of Creative and Performing Arts, where I majored in musical theatre and choir. I and currently at Cal State Los Angeles perusing a degree in Pan African Studies.

My name is Riley Botello. I'm currently eighteen years old and I consider myself to be a creative and original type of person. I'm from Dallas, Texas and recently relocated to Montreal. I went to and graduated form Booker T. Washington High School of the Performing and Visual Arts. Taking classes and having artist as my peers really opened the door for improving my art forms and being able to use it outside of the school. I since have had my writing in poetry and creative writing festivals around the Dallas and FortWorth metroplex. I've photographed multiple people's head shots and successfully gotten them into modeling agencies and many live theatre performance productions. I've photographed several events such as fashion shows, weddings, birthdays, and sporting events. Throughout my travels around the states and my short time here in Montreal I have had the chance to really expand my portfolio. So I've been lucky enough to have many of my pieces in coffee shops and family owned stores around Dallas. I have sold many of my original and edited pieces on several occasions, which amazes me every time that something I love to do so much can turn a profit. If you would like to see my portfolio please don't be afraid to ask along with any other questions you may have. Contact: ril3ynicol3@gmail.com
