Joshua Slaughter has been a professional photographer for 5 years. While a photographer for the youth services at Calvary Revival Church Norfolk at the age of 13, he mastered studio photography; much of this studio work involved green screen photography. Joshua utilized the green screen photography for the publicity photography for Facadity, a new play produced by Calvary. He then broadened his photographic horizon by entering the world of event photography. One of his many successes in this genre include shooting film and still shots at concerts for The Misfit Tour, a Christian concert series. He was able to harness that experience during the concert series and become the principal photographer for Winter Jam, with Skillet as the headliner. As Joshua continued to expand his expertise, he began concentrating on developing photos with natural lighting to meet the demands of his clientele. Again, he rose to the challenge and branched into on location photography. Joshua displayed his vast knowledge of on location photography while photographing head-shots for students at his high school who were preparing for College auditions. These students requested his services when applying to some of the top acting colleges in New York; they were impressed with the quality and professionalism of Joshua's work. Recently, Joshua combined all of his skills within the areas of studio and on location photography while creating the album and publicity photography for the new album named "Out of My Mind" by the artist Primisis.
