Hello, I'm Tara. I graduated from Marywood University with a BA in Art Education with a concentration in Illustration. I work primarily in graphic novels, but I am not opposed to working on children's books or picture books. I leave that open because the style that I work in is appealing to both children and adults. Though most of the work to date has been self-published, I recently finished a comic for an anthology that will be released before the end of this year, "Unite and Take Over: Comic Stories Inspired by the Smiths". By late next year, I will have two other comics printed for anthologies, "The Way We Sleep", for Curbside Splendor Press, and "I Was A Teenage Gargoyle", for Sawdust Press. You can find a good chunk of my work at my portfolio site: http://www.tarabba.com. It's almost always updating with new artwork and comics. There you can find galleries of my illustrations, a little preview of my first self-published comic, "Puddles", and one-shot comics done for various websites or personal projects.

Ever since I was young, I loved to draw. Drawing has always been a great passion of mine. I love to draw pretty much anything that comes to mind, such as: "beautiful designs", cartoons, cars, natural resources, airplanes, buildings, medievil art, real-life, abstract, fire-arms, animals, weapons, monsters, and much more. I believe that God gave everyone of us a passion, or a love of something, so we can find it useful. And not only making it a hobby, but sharing this love of art with everyone. "Peace."

I grew up in France, an experience which ignited my life fascination with Language. From childhood, learning languages and teaching linguistic competence have been my passion. I have always written well, and enjoy the process of helping others to write for greater clarity and impact. My greatest strengths as a translator, copy editor, and proofreader lie in my attention to detail, my ability to capture the intent of the writer, and a dedication to apply my skills and insights in order to maximize the effectiveness of each written piece. And I just love what I do!! A retired French teacher who has also taught Spanish and ESL, I tutor a number of international professionals in French, English, and Writing skills, and help them to polish their documents before submission.

I am a storyboard and concept artist that has had experience with graphic novels and illustration. You can check out my work at: http://www.sanukart.deviantart.com/gallery So this would be 500.00 for inked work, no color, right? And for the deliverable, would you be looking for paper or digital? I generally work digital, but can always go with physical media if needs be.

Portfolio available at kraigrasmussen.com. -Publisher/Creator of the comic anthology White Rabbit Magazine, followed by my solo effort, Rocketboy: "In the Radio Zone", and upcoming "The Secret Origin of Dylan Drake". -As a comic book illustrator my recent emphasis has been Science Fiction, (which becomes more science fact by the day), and period epics.
