About James Originally from Edinburgh, Scotland, James began his study of music at a very early age. He was originally a drummer and tirelessly devoured rhythm and timing. He studied piano under "Bobby DeAngelis" and discovered his drumming skills manifested into interpretational music hence unveiling his passion, composing music. His first influences were Billy Cobham, Weather Report, Return to Forever -Chick Corea, Tangerine Dream, and Ultravox. His classical influences were Bach and Beethoven. And of course, he has a huge soft-spot for Genesis -- Seconds Out Live Album, and just about everything else. He is currently a member of ASCAP. He is easy to work with and willing to take people's ideas and sculpt them into their project. There is no ego involved. WIth his British sensibilities, he is all about getting the job done. jimtennant@comcast.net

People think I am going crazy because nobody wants to listen to me. The few people that listen actually have respect and mostly understand me. I use more of my brain then most people because I am willing to learn. I like working because it is good for me. Nobody wants to hire me. I am a very trustworthy human being.
