As a working Mom of three little boys I live in a very busy yet exciting home. Aside from being a mother and wife, I am a Vocal Music Teacher for a local school district. I have been teaching both elementary and secondary music classes for twelve years. I also use my musical talents to perform locally for different entertainment opportunities. My Master's education is in Children's Literature and is nearly complete. I do hold a professional certificate from Penn State University in Children's Literature. Being creative in music and literature is an enjoyable passion and combining the two is extremely exciting as a professional. My college education includes a bachelor of Music Education with an emphasis in Vocal Music from The Indiana University of Pennsylvania where I graduated Magna *** Laude. As mentioned above I am currenly finishing my Master's in Children's Literature. This degree is being earned through Penn State University and my GPA is a 3.9. I strive for excellence in everything I do, from family to work outside the home. I am certain if hired my work would be outstanding and pleasing for the assigned task.

By day, I'm a mild-mannered bicycle mechanic. I spend my time fixing bikes and talking bike advocacy with the neighbors. But by night, I am an art vigilante! Working when the city goes to sleep, I surreptitiously create my art, mostly printmaking and drawing with pen and ink, but occasionally sculpture if I'm feeling ambitious. Because of my profession, there is a lot of crossover of bikes into my art. Is it human-powered? Does it fly? Is it Superheroic and positive? If it is, then you might be looking at some of my art. I have an obsession with human-powered flying machines, bicycles, heroes, and cities. I just can't seem to not think about those things when presented with a blank sheet of paper. I also spend much of my free time writing. Children's stories are of great interest to me. I find that I think the same way kids do. As a result, I'm working on my own kids' story. But I'm open to helping others with theirs! I haven't received many commissions, in fact, I've had about a two year hiatus from art but I'm hoping to recommit myself to it.
