My work is uniquely defined by my preoccupation to document the world around me as I see it, often using fragmentation as a way to view normal scenes and objects in a slightly skewed way. My photography has a life and energy that extends further than the 2D plane. Often slightly warping the normal image with movement, fragmentation and miniaturization that takes the object further than the eye can see it and instead transfers an emotion to the image. Whilst I prefer to document the world around me, my photos offer an emotion to the viewer that surpasses a straight documentation. For me photography is a visual language with which to express the world as I see it. While the subject matter varies, there is a connecting thread that links my work, which is the unique emotion and tension I capture thru the lens. An important part of my work is to find the image without the manipulation in post production, instead preferring to work with the instinctual, spontaneity of the moment and letting that speak for its self. My work has and is being exhibited throughout Galleries in New Zealand and has also appeared in various News Papers, Magazines and Websites Nationally and Internationally.

I am a graphic designer and also write short stories for a hobby - nothing published (although nothing submitted.) I am employed full time as a designer and have worked in the past on freelance design work for logos, posters, CD covers and t-shirt design. But I think my heart lies in writing and this is something I'd like to pursue further as I feel I have a lot to offer.

I am offering to edit and proofread from my home. I am seeking jobs with a wide range of editing and proofreading opportunities, from novels, to biographies, to articles, to fictions, to news reports. Right now, it will be an extra job but it may become a secondary or primary job. I enjoy both the reading and typing aspect, and will put time into the job and new job experiences. I have an Associate of Art degree with a 3.32 GPA. My next objective is to earn my bachelors in Communications or some field of writing. I will be happy to accept jobs in the range of $300/300 pages to gain professional experience, or an affordable offer. Just for the record, showing I am willing to put forth the effort, I have an Herbalist diploma from the School of Natural Healing in Utah, and am a certified Nutritional Herbologist and a certified Medical Transcriptionist. I also have experience with microsoft office word, picasa, and powerpoint.
