I'm a single mother of two also talented and amazing boys. Art and anything and everything surrounding art has been my way since I first scribbled waaay outside the lines, with my first set of crayolas. I've fulfilled varying requests and personal ventures of varying bits and pieces of art work over time which include illustration in pen and ink and graphite, collage, web comic character concept and design, with contributions being posted at aisle9comics.com, mural painting, caricature art and anything else I can take on as a challenge. I thrive on deadlines and new ideas and am wanting and willing to break outta the box and venture down more exciting and satisfying avenues of accomplishment, which would better engage my artistic talents.

There are a few important facts you should know about "me." I graduated from Lake Superior State University from 2007 with a BA in English. I minored in Business, which has come in handy as I have been a slave to retail for the past eight years. I am no longer interested in being a pawn in corporate games and want to actually use the degree I went to school for. Hence my desire to put my writing background to use. I just finished my first children's book and am looking to get it published and continue to write in any avenue that I possibly can. I have a passion for all things involving writing. Whether the job is big or small, I am up for the job. I have a knack for editing and am constantly doing it no matter where I am or who I am with. A local store here is "Going out of buiness," instead of "business" and it takes everything that I am not to go in and point out that they completely missed a letter. I love all things creative and writing helps me with that creativity. As far as writing experience goes, I have written for a local club newsletter, as well as a few short stories and a children's book. My senior years are bringing out my lifelong ambition to be a writer. Dusting off the keyboard and trimming the fingernails, I am jumping right in. As you mentioned, I am a novice. My talents lies in the arts category. I excelled , my graduation year, in English with a grade point average of 99.9. The wheels are, somewhat, rusty. Nothing that a little W-D 40 can't help, to relieve the squeak. Submitting test to Children's books, Institute of learning, I was encouraged to continue because I had the knack for writing children's books. I didn't accept the opportunity, at that time. Life's responsibility was to great. My philosophy is; it's never to late. Age is no barer to being the best you can be. I write in common, everyday language. Something even a child can understand. I have a talent that someone needs. I am waiting to be accepted.

I'm a cover and centerfold artist and writer for Fangoria, Gorezone and Delirium magazines. I also work for Severin Films as a packaging and key art designer. I've worked with Malibu Bay Films as a designer, and with Heavy Metal Magazine as a project art director and contributing illustrator. I worked with Digital Hero Games illustrating and designing all game and story art for Cowbell Fever, which is now out for the iPad and iPhone.
