I am a U.S. citizen of Swedish descent. I have four children, all grown, and was a stay-at-home Mom for them by my own choice. I love to teach, esp children and youth, and I love to learn. I am an avid reader and, from what I am told, great narrator with an ability to make stories and characters come to life. I have many years of teaching experience and my favorite areas are history and literature. I am looking for opportunities to narrate audiobooks for a living.

Artist Statement I am an artist because as an artist I have the freedom to create. Creating things is fascinating to me. It involves bringing something into existence that is original, and I like that by producing something original I am contributing to the progression of thoughts and ideas. I find it interesting that each of my creations carry a very personal element, an extension of myself; and that these extensions can be where I am not, and therefore will continue on longer than I will. I also revel in the sensory responses I experience when painting, drawing, sculpting or printmaking. I enjoy the physical movements, the relationships between colours and the tactile experiences that come with textures. My work bears evidence of the joy that I have when creating it. I explore and express the human experience, experiment with the properties of materials and natural laws, as well as bringing new life and purpose to discarded materials.
