I am Loregene P. Castor, second of three (3) siblings. My older brother and younger sister are both married. I'm a thirty (30) year old single mom to an amazing two (2) year old girl, who I'm proud to say, at that age, she can already sing our National Anthem. I'm living with my mom, who will be retiring in eight months from an electric cooperative she had been working with for thirty seven (37) years. My father died four years ago, when I was still working in a call center, two (2) hours away from home. I resigned from being a customer service representative to assume my father's vacated position. I'm currently connected with our City Government's General Services Department, as an Administrative Staff. I finished my Bachelor's Degree in Commerce Major in Marketing Management at the University of Saint La Salle-Bacolod City in 2001. With my eagerness to work abroad, I studied a six (6) months Caregiver Course in January 2004. Since then, while working from a Financing Firm, to Insurance Company to a Bank, I never stopped applying online to get a job abroad, where I could earn and save a big amount of money for my family. When my father got sick of Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease, I tried my best to support myself so I could take up Nursing Course by night while by day, I was employed to an eight (8) hour duty as a Loans Officer on a bank I was working with that time, 2006. It was hard, so I resigned from First Community Bank, Inc. to be a full time Nursing Student at West Negros College-Bacolod City. To support my second course, I looked for a job and there I was, year 2007, found myself sitting in front of the computer monitor with headset plugged in my ears, taking calls from Charter Communications' Cable, HSI and Telephone services clients routed from Minnesota, Michigan, Chicago, Texas and from some States in the U.S., on graveyard shifts. The pay was great, I was able to finance my schooling and on my days off, I go home and bring lots of groceries for my family and specially for my sick dad. God knows, he was my life. When daddy past away April 15, 2007, I was taking an overtime work to earn more at TeleTech Customer Care Management, Inc. call center. I was hoping I could even earn double staying on duty on my day off, to bring more of everything I wished to give for my loved ones. But, when I heard the news, my whole world turned upside down, it stopped, I thought I died. But life goes on, I didn't pursue Nursing Course. Been a full time Call Center Agent, until I accepted the offer to work at the City Government of Cadiz and be with my mom who's living alone in our ancestral home since she became a widow, but she's now a happy grandmother to her three (3) grandchildren. I wish to work abroad because I love my family. By earning big is how I could help them more, with a little extra for myself.
