Copywriting (emails, video sales letter scripts) Creative writing (including blog posts, short fiction, reviews, blurbs) Editing (including proofreading and developmental editing) Thanks for stopping by my profile here on Freelanced.com. I’m a copywriter (although I prefer to say “I use words to help businesses make more money.”) Oh, and I’m a fiction writer. Those two types of writing work together well to make you money. Here’s why… I study people. And their behavior. In good books and stories, people want to achieve…well, something. It varies from character to character. They may not know why, but they feel uneasy about something. Maybe it keeps them awake at night. Or depressed. And they feel powerless to stop it. It could be inside them, or an outside factor—the results are often the same. So do your prospects—even down to the tossing and turning at night, a lot of times. They have something in their life they’re not satisfied with, and want to change (after they become aware). In stories, characters find a solution (often through struggle), and their problem is solved. For your prospect, they find your solution (often hatched through your own struggle), and their problem or pain is eased or eliminated. I want to help you write that story—starting with your prospect, moving them past their problem with your solution, getting them to trust you, and moving you to profit.

CURRICULUM VITAE NAME: Charlotte Elizabeth Rogers DATE OF BIRTH: 8th August 1988 PLACE OF BIRTH: Bridgend, Wales NATIONALITY: Welsh EDUCATION: University of St Andrews, St Andrews, Fife (2006-2010) MA (Hons) Classical Studies and English (2:1) Dissertation: Postnormality: the posthuman mind and identity in William Gibson's Sprawl trilogy, in which I considered a cycle of identity, from human to posthuman, and the possibility of two identities existing simultaneously, in parallel with two realities. In addressing issues of both science fiction and contemporary fiction such as the human and the other, reality vs. unreality and the necessary evolution of terms such as 'normality' to allow for an ever-evolving society, I developed skills such as close analysis of both fiction and non-fiction texts, independent and extensive research to produce an original and structured 10,000-word dissertation, and undertook limited but productive meetings with a supervisor in which I was able to concisely discuss my plans for the project, including outlining my argument and discussing the progress of the final piece. This project also gave me the opportunity to engage in a lengthy process of editing, which allowed me to develop my ability to work with longer pieces of writing and further my experience with self-motivated deadlines and alterations. I am an independent freelance translator specializing in gaming, IT and web-content domains. Gaming is one of my specialties since my work experience covers a couple of areas of the industry: game development, game-specific business and game localization. I also have experienced several genres such as MMORPG, mobile games, online board game and mobile console games as a game developer so I believe that I am so familiar with the general procedure of game development, even though each company chooses a unique process for its projects. Regarding game localization, I have worked as not only a translator but also as a project manager for a meaningful period of time, and this helps me grasp what most localization coordinators / agencies dealing with game contents want. > Language pairs that I cover: EN to KO, JP to KO > LinkedIn: nz.linkedin.com/pub/tobey-kim/83/a26/162/
